In the news business working weird hours is a given. We work, mornings, days, nights, overnights... it's the nature of the beast.
I usually am lucky enough to work "days," but the other night, I worked a shift where I didn't get off until after 10:00 p.m. I was starving and didn't want to cook at home. I drove around downtown Salt Lake for a little while and couldn't find a restaurant that was open, except for fast food.
Given, I didn't drive around for too long, but it was those moments in my car, driving around aimlessly, that I missed New York City, where I could get not only any type of food at any hour, but they would deliver!
