It's so fun to read your comments...As I get in the swing of this blogging thing I'm going to try and answer your questions -- I'm still working on solving the energy crisis but until then let's start with my hair, my hair. A lot of you have asked about the extensions that I had last February...for about 30 days. I had the bead lock extensions and I had more than 250 all over my head. It took 4 hours to put in and I had to take Tylenol PM for two weeks to sleep at night. My head truly felt like a pin cushion! For someone who has had short hair for most of their life...extensions were definitely too much work for me. If I didn't blow dry, round brush and flat iron all that hair every other day it looked fuzzy and frizzy. Not only that, the itching...oh, the itching, all over my head that you really can't scratch without pulling on the beads. I did it for fun and after a couple weeks the "fun" part was no longer happening so I had them taken out which took about two hours. I will say my hair was pretty damaged underneath -- but imagine the weight of 10 inches of hair! I had to cut several inches of my own hair off afterward. My final thoughts? Extensions are great if you want them so badly that you are willing to deal with the discomfort and the possible damage to your own hair. Want something just for fun? Try a wig like I did on the show last week...it came on and off in less than 30 minutes...and I slept great that night!
