I'm not a person who makes pies. Which is funny because my parents are expert pie makers. As a kid I would sit and watch my mom and dad make the homemade dough and then take the fresh fruit and with some magical concoction mix it all together. The finished result really would put Marie Calendar's to shame! Unfortunately, none of the magic rubbed off on their youngest child.
But today in the kitchen I found a recipe I could do -- five ingredients and bam! A wonderful cherry, apple pie that even I could do -- and it was delicious!
