LEHI, Utah (AP) - All clear. That's the word from Alpine School District officials who say they've cleared out the bats from Lehi High School.

Last fall the school was infested with migratory bats. The creatures took up residence at the school and flew through hallways, classrooms and the auditorium.

The presence of the creepy creatures left students, faculty and staff at risk of being exposed to rabies. Seven students were vaccinated for rabies.

This year district officials prepared for the infestation and spent several nights at the school trying to determine how the bats entered the building.

A contractor that specializes in getting rid of bats is working on the problem.
